Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a Full Time Counter Balance Operator to join our team in Mississauga. The Counter Balance Operator is responsible for accurate preparation and completion of orders as outlined in SOP’s and the Client Manual(s). The Counter Balance Operator is responsible to comply with the regulatory GMP and corporate policies as well as uphold safety policies including safe work practices.

Specific Duties:

· Ensure the security of all product handling in accordance to government regulation.

· Ensure accuracy and completion of orders within the contractual time frame.

· Verify the quantities, lot number and item description of each item selected for an order.

· Required to participate in client audits and government audits.

· Assist with internal cycle counts.

· Complete stock moves in Warehouse Management System.

· Complete work orders for Skid transfers.

· Ensure accurate orders when using Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems.

· Ensure accurate labeling on items being shipped.

· Initial and date all completed orders according to GMP regulations.

· Moves damaged product to designated physical location and notifies inventory control.

· Forward completed documents to responsible parties for notification.

· Completes damaged product forms as required.

· Prepares reports and/or documents as required.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor or Distribution Manager.

Qualifications :

· High school or equivalent

· Able to read, write and understand English

· 1 year experience in a warehouse environment

· Certified to operate MHE such as Counter Balance, etc.

· Experience using R.F. Scanners

· Keyboard/Computer literacy

· Attention to detail

· Communication and organizational skills

Nice To Have :

· Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems)

· Good knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
