This is a Contract position in Mississauga, ON posted January 20, 2022.

* Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis and actively participate and lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, including coordination with auditors, operating platforms, and various internal and external stakeholders* Oversee credit facility loan administration and compliance* Compile, analyze and report on corporate and key business platforms including operating metrics for portfolio of infrastructure investments;* Manage fund operations, including compliance, controls and investor requests* Monitoring and reporting of treasury, derivatives, risk, liquidity and capital management;* Assist in preparation of various analyses and reports for senior management to support their business decision making* Prepare analyses as part of fundraising process for new private infrastructure funds* Involvement with preparation of forecasting and business planning process;* Prepare consolidated financial forecasts, track operating results of subsidiaries spanning multiple segments and five continents and articulate findings to key stakeholders* Support annual valuation process including in-depth review of models/long-term assumptions and the preparation of consolidated management presentations* Work collaboratively with internal parties and external service providers to ensure legal entity records are maintained appropriately and in compliance with accounting standards and relevant policies* Ad-hoc analyses and presentations on platform financial and operational results, as well as supporting any special projectsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
