** TRADESPERSON needed – Part Time, Handyman / General Building Maintenance work (More Carpentry contracting – not engineering)

Adecco ET is currently hiring for temporary, part-time Building Maintenance (General) to work for at our client location in South West Mississauga. The right candidate for this will be an experienced handyman with some extra time and inclination to do minor office building repairs and upkeep on an ongoing part-time basis for 1 year+ and ongoing. Your should have experience performing general, small building repairs and services – and be available on a part time basis each week (Flexible with times). This could be just the right fit for a retiree looking to stay active and involved in the work world.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Building Maintenance (General)

– Perform routine maintenance tasks for building upkeep including painting, drywall repairs, temperature monitoring and adjustment, minor HVAC such as belt and filter changes, also temperature monitoring and adjustments.
– Support building occupants with furniture and equipment repairs and office relocations
– Monitor general building condition and lighting. Perform bulb changes and minor plumbing repairs.
– Minor plumbing repairs, leaking toilets, Faucets replacements
– Maintain grass and landscaping. Perform little snow removal at front entrance and stairs.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Building Maintenance (General)

– 5-10+ years of prior general building maintenance / facility experience including painting, drywall repairs, minor HVAC adjustments
– Must be open to part time work
– Could be a great fit for someone later in career looking to keep busy with extra income
– Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
