Position Description:

Join our Global Technology Operations Business Team!

You will be a part of our technical advisory services team in collaboration with the national learning and development team to champion targeted training and skill enhancement programs.

In this role you will contribute to CGI’s success through identifying and implementing leading industry technology based learning solutions that will result in enhanced capability and performance of members of the Global Technology Operations and Canada Strategic Business Unit.

This high impact role reports to the Director of Transformation and Cloud Advisory Services and is part of the GTO Advisory Services and Project organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Partner and consult with different stakeholders to understand the needs and provide blended learning solutions to meet talent and business strategy objectives/priorities.
• Perform gap analysis between current performance and business goals and requirements working in conjunction with the Advisory Services Management team and Canadian Cloud Council Representatives.
• Participate in management planning and alignment with learning and development goals and achievements.
• Establish and refine learning strategy and plans for designated technologies and business goals to enhance overall capabilities.
• Responsible for measurement of learning solutions to ensure they meet business objectives.
• Support assigned business units in the promotion and implementation of blended learning solutions and ensures consistency, accuracy and quality of learning.
• Leverage global learning assets and implement customizations for regional/local markets.
• Identify and partner with vendors and partners to develop learning experiences and solutions to build member capabilities. Oversee and negotiate vendor and contract management as required.
• Stay abreast of latest advancements in learning approaches and introduce to members and leaders.
• Engage with implementation of national learning programs across the Canadian Strategic Business unit.
• Participate in global projects as required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Post-graduate education in business, Human Resources, Adult Learning, Organization Development or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years + of relevant experience in Learning & Development preferably within a corporate organization and/or in learning firms specifically focused on technology development solutions.
• Previous experience in IT or professional services would be considered a valuable asset.
• Demonstrated success in implementing synchronous and asynchronous technology-based learning solutions.
• Proven experience in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify and understand needs and develop customized learning curriculums to address gaps.
• Ability to provide thought leadership and innovative, out-of-the box solutions.
• Must possess a technical mindset and passion for the latest innovation in technology.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Project and program management experience (preference for Agile methodologies).
• General understanding of modern technology, tools and methods to drive organizational learning.
• Vendor management and contract negotiation experience in procurement of enterprise agreements.
• Bilingual, written and spoken – French and English.
