The Opportunity Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for executing innovative sourcing, branding and recruitment strategies.  This position will provide sourcing, branding and recruitment support to the Talent Acquisition team contributing to the delivery of an exceptional recruitment experience from beginning to end.

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Manage the advertising and promotion of job postings across various platforms, partnering with both vendors and the internal marketing team.
  • Assist in uploading sourced candidate into the applicant tracking system.
  • Attend intake meetings along with Sr. Talent Attraction Specialists. Accountable for capturing selection criteria and creating candidate selection matrix.
  • Assist with data analytics and reporting.
  • Review and screen applicants against selection criteria who apply to vacant positions through various channels
  • Conduct searches within LinkedIn, Indeed and other sources to pre-screen and attract passive candidates
  • Conduct pre-qualification interviews to develop short lists of appropriate candidates for interviewing purposes
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and Hiring Managers
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Attend and/or assist in planning events such as career fairs to develop candidate pools
  • Assist with creating event calendars for talent attraction and branding events.
  • Upload career and employment branding content to various social media platforms using approved content calendars
  • Generate weekly updates on candidate sourcing and marketplace data.
  • Act as back up to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist as needed.
  • Other recruitment related activities and projects as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in related discipline is highly preferred. 
  • 2-5 years’ experience providing sourcing support within either a corporate recruitment team or agency search firm
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel (Pivots, Macros, Filters), PowerPoint (Modify/Create engaging recruitment material), Outlook (manage calendars) and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively screen and source qualified candidates
  • Ability to collaborate and balance across multiple stakeholders, with effective time management.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proactive and solution oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • A passion for recruitment, and a curious approach
