Corporate Account Manager (Ontario)

Oceanex Inc.

This is a Contract position in Mississauga, ON posted January 14, 2022.

Oceanex is currently searching for a strong Corporate Account Manager. Based at our office in Ontario (ON) and reporting to the Director of Sales – East Region, The Corporate Account Manager plays a role in developing and managing the company’s commercial goals. He must also meet and exceed individual and company objectives.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Meet with new and existing corporate clients on a regular basis to maintain and further enhance commercial growth objectives;
  • Network to develop and coordinate major project activities and ensure Oceanex’s involvement
  • Successfully negotiate in a timely fashion confidential transportation contracts, general rate increases and programs in accordance with corporate objectives
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and work closely and directly with all internal departments
  • Update and maintain accurate data reporting within required timelines
  • Participate in various industry functions and ensures the company is represented in a professional manner at all times
  • Perform other duties, as assigned


  • University degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience
  • Computer literate
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry (a definite asset)


  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong research and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
