The Brick is actively seeking to expand our Mississauga fleet team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be reporting to the Fleet Manager. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude! FT pay: $22.00 – $28.00 an hour.
Associates will start with a guaranteed wage of $22 an hour for the first 80 days. Full time Fleet Associates can earn over $50,000 or more within the first 12 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
- Inspect and load products
- In-town delivery, Appliances, Electronics, Mattresses and furniture
- Lift and carry products into customers’ homes and assemble as required
- Provide excellent in-home customer service
- Complete driver registration process.
Qualifications
- Delivery experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license (G is needed) Graduated is Not Sufficient
- Current Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- High school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Work shifts, mornings and weekends requires
- Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
